SJK has completed successful projects for AT&T, Avaya, American Express, Earth Sciences Inc., Harvard Industries, Intermedia Communications, The MARS Company (water industry), TECO Energy, USA.NET, Vidatron, two hedge-fund managers and a variety of other organizations from Fortune 100 corporations to regional and local businesses and government entities.

When Vidatron Entertainment Group moved from the Vancouver Stock Exchange to the Toronto Stock Exchange, part of their reward was a cover story in The Toronto Stock Exchange Review.
Unfortunately, the story had to be researched, written, designed and produced in two weeks!
SJK was given guidelines and asked to produce the story and send it -- "camera ready" -- to the editors and production department of the magazine.
We made the deadline. This story is the result. All research, writing, graphics and production were our responsibility.
The actor on the cover is Graham Greene, from Dances with Wolves.
This page from our Toronto Stock Exchange Magazine cover story contains some detailed financial data -- which we researched, wrote, designed and produced.
This cover story in a prominent building trades magazine reinforced the fireproof nature of Celotex Presidential Shake roofing shingles.
The one house in Laguna Beach that didn't burn down during a "Santa Anna Wind" firestorm was the one with a Celotex roof -- despite contact with a falling burning tree.

The following newsletter story and its companion stories -- designed by our proprietary content / issues management system -- were credited by a national research firm with increasing positive and positive-leaning customer numbers from 28% to almost 80% in two years. We also won eight awards for our writing.

In the business-to-business public relations arena, a story in Forbes Magazine is considered a pinnacle of achievement. We were able to place stories about several of our clients in Forbes.

We have conceived, written and designed several annual reports -- including the complex pages that deliver financial results summaries. The following "financials page" was written, designed and produced to "camera ready" for a billion-dollar manufacturing concern.

The best copy writing in advertising won't sell anything if the "deal isn't right." When a major air conditioning manufacturer wanted to introduce its lower-end line to the Florida marketplace, they asked our agency for an introductory campaign. We were to spend $500,000 on newspaper and television ads in one week -- a good chunk of change then, and even today.
We presented a campaign based on a "Star Wars" theme. That was attention getting. But it was "the deal" that caused the moderately priced air conditioners to dominate the Florida market for several weeks.
We determined that homeowners could finance their new air conditioning installations in much the same way they financed automobiles -- and worked with a finance company to structure an offer. So the cost of several thousand dollars became "$41/month" with the offer numbers floating in space (to emphasize the quietness of the units). We later were asked to produce a similar campaign for Carrier, the parent line.
A NJ school district lost by a margin of 3/2 its bid to pass a school construction referendum for over $30 million -- despite using a PR firm that specialized in school elections. The district was also left with a conflict between parent and volunteer groups and the consultant so deep that hiring another consulting group to go forward was dangerous politically.
Despite this situation and seeing the need for better strategic advice, the school superintendent hired SJK to help plan the effort to win a second election one year later.
Using SJK's advice on how to frame the issues, the district was able to turn the 3/2 loss into a 2/1 victory -- despite a New Jersey population experiencing already high taxes.
We hope this page has convinced you of our versatility. The quality and speed of our research, writing, design and production will convince you that we provide high-level consultation and implementation at moderate prices.
Our free consultation can start you on your way to more effective communications..
